So i'm at the airport waiting for a flight to fort lauderdale where I will have to grab my bags and check them in again (hopefully without another fee). So my i was late for my flight last night to SJC cause taxis fucking suck. There were no more flights to SJC for the rest of the weekend so I had to take the next earliest flight to SFO which is the one for today. I planned on sleeping at the airport, but got hooked up with a hotel room at the hilton cause the dudes felt bad for me. It was pretty damn nice. Everyone was a good 5x classier than me. I had a pretty sweet dinner and I felt less bad for having to pay $100 cause of fail taxis. Anyways after dinner i explored the hotel. There wasn't much to do since internet wasn't free so I went to the gift shop. Saw some nice harvard shirts, but they costed $40. Fuck that. While I was browsing someone asked me if i was looking for anything in particular and when I looked up I saw a very very cute asian girl. She was wearing this spring skirt kinda thing and had a pretty damn fashionable outfit overall. Seemed a bit older than me, but I didn't really care. I told her I was just looking around since there wasn't much to do and we started talking about my situation and how i got pretty lucky with the hotel room. We hit it off pretty well, but I was too shy to keep the conversation going. I was in the gift shop for about 10 minutes (pretty good compared to my usual cute girl encounters) and left as soon as I couldn't think of anything to say. I realized afterwards that I should've stayed longer, but it was too late. Now I will never see her again. Maybe this post will remind me to visit the hilton some day =/.
